What type of medical staff makes the house calls at HOUSECALL DOCTORS P.C?

A licensed medical doctor and nurse practitioners comes to your home. Our general practice Doctor makes house calls.

Can a Housecall Doctor be my primary doctor even if I am not homebound?

Yes. The house call doctor fulfills all the same functions of your primary care doctor. The only difference is that our doctor comes to you. No more waiting in a crowded doctor’s office again.

Do I need a referral for a medical house call from my office based physician?

No. You can make an appointment directly. Just pick up the phone or make an appointment on-line. We make house calls 5 days a week to patients.

How much does a medical house call cost?

At HOUSECALL DOCTORS P.C., the costs for services are similar to those as you would pay in a doctor's office. If you would like to pay in cash for services, we have payment plans that maybe able to help your budget. If you have Medicare with a supplemental insurance, Medicare, Medicare with Medicaid or a private insurance, there is no out of pocket charge for a house call except your co-pay and deductibles. 

Emergency trips made by the doctor per patient's request without appointment will be charged a travel fee. All appointment cancellations or reschedule require a 24 hour notice. Same day cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee.

What medical insurance does the HOUSECALL DOCTORS P.C. accept?

HOUSECALL DOCTORS P.C. accepts Medicare, Medicare with supplemental insurance, Medicare with Medicaid and most private insurances such as Humana, United Healthcare, and Aetna, for example. Sorry, we do not accept Medicaid HMOs or Anthem HMO's.

Can the house call doctor see patients in an assisted and/or non-assisted living home Or nursing home?

Yes. The Doctor makes house calls to see patients in assisted/non-assisted living homes or nursing homes.

Does the house call doctors provide emergency medical care?

If you are experiencing a true medical emergency, we encourage you to call 911 as soon as possible. Hospital visits will be overseen by physicians associated with your local hospital and coordinating care with HOUSECALL DOCTORS P.C. Our house call physicians round at only some of the hospitals.

What if I need refills on my medication?

Every effort will be made to make sure you have your medications. You can schedule your doctor's appointments out several months and also note them to be recurring. It's that easy.

What are some of the cities you serve in Northwest Indiana? We serve most of the following cities and towns in Northwest Indiana. Please call our office to find out whether the doctors can come see you.
